INFLATOR/DEFLATOR TOOL
The WEBANCOR #1815 Inflator/Deflator Tools are for use with a WEBANCOR #1641 Tank Valve or similar tank valves used by other shaft manufacturers. This combination meets OSHA requirements for safety. This type of valve cannot be deflated with the fingers, which could allow compressed air to get under the skin and into the blood stream with fatal results to the operator.
We recommend the use of a QUICK DISCONNECT between the tool and the airline. This allows the tool to be easily removed from the air line and used to DEFLATE the shaft or chuck. When this tool is used to deflate the shaft or chuck, the compressed air safely exhausts away from the skin. This also stops the valve from being damaged.
NOTE: use of nails or other improper tools to deflate the shafts or chucks will damage the valve and will ruin the Inflator seal causing it to leak.
Compressed air can be dangerous when used carelessly.
